I didn't realise that this forum was only for hardcore Mass Effect fans that have read the "wiki" and know it inside and out. Obviously it was wrong of me to come to the official Mass Effect forum with my query, even though i posted it in the relevant sub forum, and even took the time to look for an older thread in which to do so - which i believe is good forum etiquette.

I think that some of you have spent too much on your computer playing and reading about Mass Effect, that it has taken a bit of a toll on your people skills. Some of you are extremely rude. By Hussar - Mon Aug 30, am. I can't believe how many people complain about multiple posts or rehashing old posts. If you don't want to read a thread again, then don't keep reading the 5, 10, 15 replies just so you can flame the original poster. Hussar Status: Offline. By Chuvvy - Mon Aug 30, am.

He's known you for all of twenty minutes and he's willing to throw away a twenty year grudge. Way more than a grudge. After going up the ramp on the other side of the bridge, keep an eye out for some goodies:. Up ahead you'll enter the gatehouse and have a meeting with Vido Santiago. Zaeed goes overboard and starts a chain reaction in the refinery to try and kill his archenemy, but Vido escapes.

If you respond with "Explain yourself! Here you can pick various responses for Morality Points, although if you're Paragon you won't get as many Paragon Points than if you took the Interrupt. Your options are as follows:. After the dialogue ends, you're thrown into combat against a small squad of Blue Suns Troopers, so quickly take cover via the short metal wall in the middle and gun them down.

Continue moving through the facility walkway, and eventually you'll come to a brief fork, with a door on your left. When you open the door, a refinery worker will desperately call at you for help, as they can't access the valve controls to turn off the fire. Zaeed doesn't care and has eyes only for Vido. At the outset, you can reply with "You suggest we leave them?

You'll then have a big decision to make: whether to take the time to save the workers, or ignore them and head straight for Vido kinda like Asteroid X57 in the first game! Each option has its own path that have exclusive rewards, some of which aren't apparent until the end of the Mission:. Taking this option makes Zaeed quite upset that you aren't going after Vido immediately, but he's at least practical enough to know there's no arguing and you'd better get to it.

After Shepard jumps down onto the platform below, move down the ramps and Bypass the door to get inside. Here, your path will be regularly blocked by fire, and you'll need to use Fuel Control panels to keep moving forwards. To start, move up the flight of stairs and through the door on your right.

Pass through the flames in the doorway and then activate the first Fuel Control panel to clear the ramp forwards.

Cross over, then hit the second Fuel Control panel hidden away on the left, which will remove the fire blocking the next ramp. Cross over it. Continue up the next set of stairs, and an explosion causes a metal beam to appear on the floor. Here on the right the workers will try talking to you.

Heed their advice and hit the next Fuel Control panel to clear the last ramp. Move forward and up the next flight of stairs. Continue along the walkway until an explosion blows up the way forward, forcing you up the detour ramp to your right.

Move across it and back down onto the main path. Once you have the Research, use the Fire Extinguisher Systems to put out the fire. Move through the door and onto the next catwalk and then jump down onto the crates.

This is where the Paragon and Renegade routes meet back up. Going directly to kill Vido will take you through a route that's almost entirely combat. As you move through this next section, you hear explosions and screams as the refinery is blown apart. Moving forward, you will need to fight another squad of Blue Suns Troopers. As you approach the walkway across the chasm, it'll be blown up by the refinery's chain reaction: you'll have to find another way across. At this moment you'll get into another fight with more Troopers and a Pyro attacking from your right.

Defeat them, then head through the same interior passage they ambushed you from for some goodies:. Move through the next door and fight the moderately large squad of Blue Suns Troopers that storm at you. Each class has something like this.

Try switching from one to the other. On my first playthrough, I was an Assassin, and got Zaeed's loyalty. On my recently finished playthrough, I could not get his loyalty until I reassigned my points and went into Agent. More topics from this board What happens if I save the workers in Zorya?
