How does impossible by nancy werlin end

She has her fiercely protective foster parents and her childhood friend Zach beside her. Do they have love and strength enough to overcome an age-old evil? Werlin earns high marks for the tale's graceful interplay between wild magic and contemporary reality. With its fantasy, mystery, and romantic aspects, the story will appeal to many readers. The conclusion is startlingly wholesome, comfortable and complete for the usually dark Werlin, and the melding of magic and practicality produces a lovely whole.

It is written so well you feel connected to Lucy and her feelings in a way you dont with other books.

And as for the reader i think she was just perfect. She had to read for a boy as well and she did an amazing job. I hope she read more books so i can buy them as well. I remember reading this book when I was younger and in high school.

I don't recall finishing it, but the premise always intrigued me. I kept this book in the back of my mind for years always meaning to go back and finish it.

I added this one to my wish list and one day decided to try it again. The premise is still intriguing: an ancient family curse revolving around a creepy poem!? Sign me up! However, I was so disappointed when I actually sat down and read it all theses years later. My first problem is the narrator. She was not a great choice for this.

There are so many serious topics brought up such as rape and sex. She read this book in such a cutesy girlish tone I couldn't take her seriously. She made the main character Lucy sound so immature. My second issue is with the heroine. I like a real three dimensional protagonist with strengths and weaknesses. This girl was so one note it drove me crazy. Same with Zach too. There was little to no conflict between them and their relationship.

My last issue is the writing style itself. Like I said before, I actually found the story and premise interesting. Cat Rambo. By Ralph Harris. Fiction Literary Fiction. New York, My Village. Uwem Akpan. By Arlene McKanic. Uwem Akpan anchors his first novel in astonished anger, acerbic humor and, despite everything, love of New York City and its people.

But a breath of fresh air. Also, I love the cover. Hard to believe she re-wrote that fairytale twice, but true. Another addition to the To Be Bought list, thanks for the rec.

I was doing a book report on this book. I wanted to include the entire ballad. I kept forgetting the book in my locker.. Glad to be of service, and I hope your book report went well! I loved this book! It was weird at first but i began to realize it was a pretty amazing book! Even gave me a life changing perspective. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
